A few years ago, I attended a family get-together.
 
I felt a sense of panic at being around a bunch of people because, at the time, I was unhappy with how I looked and felt.
 
I caught sight of myself in the mirror and I noticed that my clothes didn't fit the way I wanted them to fit.
 
I felt insecure.
 
And I decided right then, that I was going to do something about it.
 
I said, "From next week, I'm gonna start training, and I won't stop until I'm in the best shape of my life!"
 
I meant it, too.
 
But I didn't know how to do it.
 
In fact, I didn't even know where to begin.
 
I had all this determination, from years of feeling like I wasn't good enough, but I didn't know how to use all this power to achieve my new goal.

I've been a personal trainer for the last 17 years, and a fan of fitness since my teens.

 

And let me tell you something...

I know this, because I've helped thousands of men and women get into their best shape over the years, and I continue to do so on a daily basis.

 

But it all started with myself.

 

You see, I started out with a lot of determination but no clue regarding how to build my "dream body".

 

I tried every diet I could find... I hit every exercise program in magazines... I followed all the trends... but nothing worked.

 

Until one day that changed.

 

Here's what made the difference:

 

I began applying science to my training, nutrition and supplements.

 

You see, there are literally decades of clinical studies showing us the information we need to build our best possible physique. In fact, there's so much information that most of us don't have the time it would take to go through it all.

 

I made it my mission to do that.

 

Using this information I was able to bust every myth I'd ever been told about exercise and nutrition!

Pretty soon afterward, the results began to show. And they didn't stop. In fact, the more I stayed consistent with it, the better I looked and the better I felt!

 

It's a feeling I've been able to pass on to plenty of men and women since then, as a personal trainer.

This is Arnie.

 

He's my three year old son, and he's my absolute world.

 

In fact, this little kid is the linchpin behind my whole business. I built it to support him.

 

Arnie was diagnosed with autism, and these little days out I spend with him like the one you see in the picture are so important, I can't even put into words what it means.

 

Arnie's the reason I'm a personal trainer.
