EXERCISE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • SETUP: Attach a resistance band to a machine, or in my case a tyre, then get into a regular PUSH UP stance. You can see that my nearest hand is placed INSIDE the resistance band.
  • REP: Perform a push up by lowering your body (under control) all the way to the floor then powering back up. Now lift the banded hand off the ground reach across towards your grounded hand. This will take your working side beyond the mid-line of your body, creating ADDUCTION, which is essential for chest development.
  • TIP: This exercise works as a great combo with dumbbell flyes.
